It’s my pleasure to introduce readers of Watch It All About to a new British watch brand, Philip Ashton. Based in Bristol, they’re setting out to provide classy and sporty Swiss Made watches at affordable prices. What’s not to like? They certainly tick all my boxes.

They bring their passion of their home city into the watches by engraving the coat of arms into the caseback.

An important and impressive offering to be aware of is how each watch comes with a 5 year warranty. This demonstrates their desire to be in it for the long haul. I wish them the best and hope they turn out to be successful!

Take a look at their 3 models below.

Dayhatch I (Minimalistic Watch)

The Dayhatch I will cost £150 during their upcoming Kickstarter campaign, and will then RRP for £200. Being Swiss Made and with a sapphire crystal, it’s a pretty good deal. It’s a very classic and smart design which will please a lot of people – and when you think it’s only a little bit more than a Daniel Wellington, but offers so much more, then it’s a fairly solid choice.

Dayhatch II (Chronograph)

The Dayhatch II will be priced at £180 during their Kickstarter campaign, and will then RRP for £230. I personally really like this watch, it looks great in the real life picture below. The polished applied hour markers look like they will provide a lovely reflection, and the lack of bezel and large rehaut means that the dial’s size is maximised.

Dayhatch S (Sporting)

The Dayhatch S will be priced at £195 during their Kickstarter campaign, and will then RRP for £245. This is also a watch that I really like the look of. It comes in a PVD or stainless steel case so you can take your pick in appearance – a slightly smarter option with the steel, or a more aggressive look with the PVD.

Personally, I’m looking forward to seeing these watches in the flesh. I’m fairly certain that they will become popular, thanks to the design, price and specs.

Not for me...
I find the design rather bland and the quartz movement is a clear deterrent for me. However, I find that there's some merit to the sport one... even if it shares the same overcrowded dial and uninspiring movement.

Good luck still...
